Throughout my journey with various MMORPGs, only a handful have captivated my attention for an extended period. One of them is Final Fantasy XIV, alongside Secret World and Eve Online. And then we have Aion. At its peak, the game world was stunning, and the gliding mechanics were a feature I still wish more games would incorporate. (If only it could have allowed full-time flight.) Therefore, the prospect of revisiting that world excites me greatly.
