Mortal Online 2 Unveils Plans for Banking System Overhaul

Starting Friday, Mortal Online 2 will launch a test server to trial a minor update, primarily migrating the game to Unreal Engine 5’s newest version and resolving bugs such as mounts clipping underground. However, the spotlight of the latest developer blog shines on a long-standing feature: the game’s banking system. Having aged into a clunky interface, the system is now slated for a comprehensive redesign.

Currently, banks feature an unwieldy grid of storage bags that complicate item organization. The overhaul aims to introduce auto-sorting for deposited items, along with primary and secondary filtering options. Players will also see a visible item cap to streamline inventory management.

Star Vault explains the motivation: “Our goal is to transform the banking system into an invisible, intuitive tool. Once updated, locating items should take mere seconds—eliminating friction and letting you focus on gameplay.”

If successful, the revamp will simplify storing gear, resources, and other essentials, making the system a seamless part of the Mortal Online 2 experience.
