The latest summer update for Odin: Valhalla Rising is now live, bringing fresh features to spice up the season. Among the updates are a new elite dungeon, a seasonal island event, class-specific themed outfits, and more. The game recently crossed the 20 million downloads mark since its original launch in Korea, 2021.
The most notable addition in this update is the “Shadow Fortress,” a dungeon designed for challenging co-op battles among guilds. The area is a PK-enabled zone that permits player-on-player battles without penalties. A unique feature is that no names appear on screen, making it hard to distinguish friend from foe. Overcoming the dungeon’s obstacles can yield legendary rarity items and materials for the new imprinting system that enables character enhancement.
The limited-time seasonal event “Summer Island” gives off a festive, vacation vibe and runs until July 30th. Defeating monsters on the enchanting island allows players to earn event items like the summer party scroll required for the unlock of themed costumes. Every class has four summer outfits, each with limited availability. The update also triggers a special login event that grants 77 Summoning Tickets along with several other bonuses.
