Metin2 Sets November Date for ‘Tyranny of Aamon’ Expansion

Metin2, the enduring fantasy MMORPG from Gameforge, originally launched in 2004 and is still going strong. Gameforge has announced that the game’s upcoming major update, “Tyranny of Aamon,” is slated for release in November, preceded by a month-long series of in-game events and community activities commencing on October 8th.

This update will introduce Moonshadow Vale, a completely new region offering players new quests, dungeons, and valuable loot. The addition of an entirely new zone after 20+ years signifies a significant investment, catering to both veteran players seeking fresh challenges and newcomers looking for an accessible entry point.

• Confront new dungeons and the formidable central boss, Aamon, in a challenging encounter.
• Acquire and craft additional weapon and armor sets, including new boots.
• Participate in a four-week pre-launch event (October 8th – November 5th) featuring weekly missions, Twitch Drops, Metin Fever weekends, and double-EXP Sundays.

Metin2 remains a free-to-play PC game available through the Gameforge launcher.
