Meet a Ruined Old Friend in Vindictus’ ‘Ruin of Forsaken’ Update

October appears to be an action-packed month for MMORPG Vindictus – a game developed by Nexon. Not only has there been a new update that encompasses a fresh storyline, a new raid and more, but several events have kicked off, including a community Halloween event on their Discord channel.

The new update brings forward the game’s narrative with the 10th episode in Season 4, titled “Ruin of the Forsaken”. In this new storyline, players go against their friend, Spinos, to hinder the resurrection of the god, Balor. Spinos has succumbed to depression after the hero Lugh Lamhfada was defeated by the deity, Macha.

The latest story is not the only addition to the update. The “Falls Confession” raid has also been introduced. This four-person raid is accessible to players who are at level 120, where they will have to battle against Spinos.

With a new update comes new events and rewards. Nexon is currently offering additional Evil Core to players as a reward for completing the new raid. A “Fresh Fall Hero Pass” event has also been kicked off allowing players to gain a range of rewards, including the “2024 Hero Voice Destiny Box – Fall”. To mark the game’s 14th anniversary, players will also receive gifts. All they need to do is log in. The game is also hosting a “VindiGhosts” community event via their Discord server in line with the Halloween season.
