Marvel Contest of Champions: Fantastic Four Celebration Ignites!

Marvel enthusiasts have just over two weeks to look forward to the debut of the upcoming Fantastic Four film, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”. As is customary, a movie tie-in for a fighting game based on the Marvel franchise is a given, so the release of the film is being commemorated in Marvel Contest of Champions.

This means players can anticipate exciting in-game events and giveaways. Initially, players will assist the Fantastic Four with the Future Foundation by delving into the Battlerealm. Additionally, there’s an opportunity to acquire a 7-Star Mister Fantastic by collecting “Research Grant” items during the Fantastic FORCE Saga.

Moreover, players can participate in the “Vaults of Variant” side quest until July 9. Lastly, logging in from now until August 14 will reward players with daily bonuses. If you log in for seven consecutive days, you can add the complete Fantastic Four team to your roster.

Alongside the F4 features, Contest of Champions players also have a chance to earn The Maker and High Evolutionary during a Villain Takeover. These characters will be available as rewards on July 17 and July 31 through The Contest.

Marvel Contest of Champions is introducing a new quest type called Squad Builder. The goal is to assemble the highest-scoring squad, with the scoring criteria based on Factions and Grades. Players will have three swaps to create their optimal squad, and once satisfied, they can engage in a boss fight to accumulate their score. Participants will receive 52 2-Star Champions to utilize in this mode at no cost.
