Lost Ark’s Mokoko Event Lures Veterans to Aid Newbies in Dungeons for Rewards

A fresh update was released in Lost Ark today, inaugurating a fresh event in the MMORPG and initiating the transfer period for players wishing to shift from Ignite servers to the Legacy servers. The purpose of the Mokoko Bootcamp event is to help both newcomers and returning players navigate through the game.

As most MMO gamers know, assembling parties to go through vintage content can be tough. Especially since not everyone is interested in revisiting older content, especially if there’s no reward involved for them.

That’s where the event steps in. When players whose most equipped character on their account is less than 1660 complete a dungeon, those who undertake the challenge with them will also get rewarded. The novice or returning players will earn “Mokoko Tokens”, exchangeable for various items, while veteran players venturing dungeons with newcomers or returnees will rack up “Expert Tokens”. Both kinds of tokens can be traded for rewards.

To easily identify a player as a newcomer, returnee or neither, fresh and returning players who meet one of three conditions will show a green leaf symbol next to their name on the recruitment panel. Conditions include creating the account during the event or up to a maximum of 60 days before. Or, for returning players, their account should have been one which hadn’t been logged into for over 60 days before the event began. The event commences today and will run until January 15.

Regarding the Ignite server migrations, the window has now opened and will stay open until November 27. The transfer mechanism includes two transfer versions. A Roster Transfer is intended for new participants and enables moving some roster-level info to another server, along with the character intended to be moved. The Character transfer is more convenient for returnees or active players and it permits them to integrate their characters into an existing roster.
