With the successful completion of the recent LOA ON livestream, we are back with new insights revealed by the Lost Ark team. They’ve unveiled a roadmap that presents a sneak peek into what’s coming to the MMORPG from January to March 2025. The roadmap, slightly lean compared to the previous ones, indicates a faster schedule – the Western launch is close on the heels of the Korean one. Thus, several elements are still a work in progress.
Currently, the primary focus of the roadmap is on content. Specific system changes, upgrades, and enhancements are yet to be detailed.
In our previous coverage, we had elaborated on the December 18th update which includes two new Solo mode raids – the Thaemine Legion Raid and the Echidna Kazeros Raid. The update also brings adjustments to the elixir and transcendence mechanics, which Korea had received earlier this week.
Apart from the above, Wednesday’s update will bring with it: Kazeros Raid 2: Prologue, the 6th season of Proving Grounds, and the Icy Breakthrough event that helps in progressing into Tier 4.
In the coming year – January 2025 will witness the release of Kazeros Raid Act 2. The Frontier system would be implemented incrementally, making the endgame raids easier with time. Players can choose their challenges accordingly. More information on the 3rd anniversary celebration will be released soon.
The Advanced Class to be introduced in February is a nature-oriented Yoz specialist who can transform into animals with various skill sets, and also summon animal allies. The month also brings new progression events.
For March, the details are sparse with the team mentioning that they are still planning for this period and beyond. However, Music Box of Memories is expected to be released and ongoing progression events will further fuel the release of the Wild Soul Advanced Class in February.
