The Lost Ark team in North America is gearing up for a busy period over the next couple of months. They’re not only preparing for the October update, but they’re also teasing the highly anticipated climax of the Kazeros raid, which is slated for release in November. However, before all of that happens, they need to handle the North American Region Merge. Yes, that’s right, a *region* merge, not just a server merge.
On October 22nd, NA West and East will be combined. While this won’t involve merging individual servers or player rosters, it will bring the two regions together as one. A comprehensive explanation of the process will be released on October 15th, but players shouldn’t be overly concerned. However, it’s important to note that the merge will cause a slight delay in the arrival of the October update. Players can anticipate its release on October 29th.
Regarding updates, the developers of the free-to-play MMORPG have provided a brief roadmap detailing the upcoming Lucky Box event, as well as plans for Thaemine Extreme and the Kazeros The First clear race. Players will be pleased to hear that the Lucky Box will be similar to the Korean version, but without the gacha mechanics. As for Thaemine Extreme, the developers are postponing its release due to the already packed schedule with the Assault Raid double raid release and the Kazeros launch in November.
Finally, information has also been shared concerning the Kazeros The First clear race and future raid release plans. The developers have outlined the eligibility criteria for participation – those found cheating or using RMT (Real Money Trading) are excluded. They also emphasize that speed-hacking will not be tolerated during the competition. More details on this will be provided at a later date, as with the other topics discussed.
