Amazon Games has initiated Lost Ark’s third-anniversary celebration, which includes free cosmetic packages, a limited-time event island, and a reflective look at player’s accomplishments in the previous year. These special activities kick off on February 5 and feature:
Contents of the Anniversary Update?
- Event Island Festa of Arkesia
- You can access the island through quests in the main cities like Luterra Castle, Vern Castle, among others. The island has mini festive quests, token shops, and a renewed Balthorr raid with fresh mechanics.
- Gather event tokens to swap for collectibles and materials for upgrades.
- Complimentary Gifts for Players (Delivered February 5)
- Gift 1: 3rd Anniversary Skin + Weapon Chests, Abyss Wallpaper.
- Gift 2: 100 Pheons (premium currency), 20 Battle Item Chests, 20x Destiny Stones, 10 Legendary Elixirs, and tickets to upgrade armor/weapons.
The celebration of the anniversary comes after January’s Echidna Legion Raid and continuous actions against bots, which led to the ban of millions of accounts in 2024. Despite the measures, bots continue to be a circumstance.
While anniversary events are customary for MMOs, Lost Ark’s generous rewards (100 Pheons equals about $20) and the recap of stats driven by nostalgia are geared towards satisfying experienced players tired of monotonous grinding cycles.
Narrative of Lost Ark’s player base significantly reducing since its launch has changed. The population of the game seemed to have stabilized and bounced back after hitting the lowest point in November 2024. As of now, the game enjoys an average of ~24,000 concurrent players on Steam.
