Invasion Trilogy Starts August 29th, Culminates with Ultimate Freya October 30th.

Recently, we got a glimpse at the upcoming first season for The First Descendant from Nexon, although concrete details were sparse. However, details regarding what “Invasion” will bring to the looter-shooter are now being revealed. Be aware, if you’re anticipating certain content, it may not be available immediately upon the season’s August 29th start.

Those eager to play as the new icy Descendant Hailey Scott won’t face delays. You can unlock (or purchase) the Descendant on the first day of the season. Also, August 29th will introduce the new Invasion Dungeon, Invasion Reinforcement, a seasonal progression system to increase stats, and an all new Excava Ultimate Weapon and battle pass.

If you’re excited to join the new Void Intercept battle featuring the Death Stalker, acquire the Frost Walker Ultimate Weapon, or explore the new Ultimate skins or spawn effects, you’ll need to wait for “part 2” of the season beginning on September 26th.

The final third of the season update on October 30th brings Ultimate Freyna and all her content (including backstory missions), modules, high-difficulty Infiltration Operations and ETA-0 visits for exclusive items and blueprints through a special currency. This last update won’t be available on The First Descendant until the stated date.

In addition to the new content, some basic improvements are also being rolled out on August 29th, which include revision to Void Fragments/Shards for easier farming and usage in Fusion Reactor, optimization of Hard Infiltration Ops matchmaking, balance changes to some Descendants, and improved UX.
