Introducing “Windblown,” a New Game from Dead Cells’ Developers

The gamers’ favorite, Motion Twitn, just dropped a fresh trailer for the much-anticipated PC game, Windblown, an enticing roguelike game from the same creators that brought us Dead Cells.

In the minute-long trailer presented below, gamers are given a sneak peek into what they can expect regarding the narrative, atmosphere, and gameplay of Windblown. Set in The Ark, a tranquil floating village encircling the massive and threatening Vortex, disaster is looming as the peaceful confines of this little island are under threat.

The once-peaceful inhabitants of The Ark, tasked warriors known as Leapers to defend them against the terrors from the Vortex. But due to their failed attempt, the survival of their species now lies in the hands of the players.

Unprecedented action from the get-go

Experience the thrill of unrestrictive exploration across ever-evolving floating islands teeming with secrets that await discovery. Players must master a rhythm in the intense battle with Vortex Sentinels and formidable boss fights.

Unlock game-changing weaponry

Leapers have the ability to take in the memories of defeated warriors, allowing them access to distinct abilities and the potential to craft powerful equipment. Gathering these advantages allows players to access a wider range of combinations creating unique and spectacular synergies.

Up to two weapons can be equipped, allowing for personalized playstyles. Additionally, passive effects, functional accessories, and even fish (yes! they exist in the game) can be used to rapidly modify your setup and adapt to any situation.

A lesson death delivers

The Vortex will challenge player skills. While the battles in Windblown are hard, they are always equitable. Beware, as a single mistake could lead to a fatal strike from a Sentinel’s blade. Repeated deaths enable players to learn, memorize enemy patterns, and ultimately return stronger. If victory seems unattainable singlehandedly, ally with other Leapers in the online co-op for a boost.
