HoYoverse has unveiled Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0, dubbed “Paean of Era Nova,” set to launch on January 15. This update presents the new world of Amphoreus, noteworthy story developments, new characters, and gameplay systems spread across multiple maps and mechanics.

New World: Amphoreus

• The Astral Express sets its course towards Amphoreus, a celestial vortex world, isolated from the universe and governed by Twelve Titans.
• The history of Amphoreus is characterized by Titan wars and the enigmatic black tide, which gnaws away at sanity and lays waste to life.
• The game will allow players to traverse three vital regions:
  • Abyss of Fate: Ancestral ruins where time, space, and rules were interwoven by Titans.
  • Holy City of Okhema: The last bastion of humanity, protected by the Worldbearing Titan, Kephale.
  • Castrum Kremnos: A city-state under the rule of the Titan of Strife, with exploration mechanics facilitated by the Hand of Zagreus.
• The Vortex of Genesis acts as the main hub for the Chrysos Heirs’ Flame-Chase Journey, where recovered Coreflames are returned to reestablish equilibrium.

New Trailblazer Path: Remembrance

• The Trailblazer inherits the Path of Remembrance, tapping into past strength to surmount obstacles.
• A fresh companion, Mem, assists players in combat with True DMG attacks and strategic advantages.

New Characters

1. The Herta (5-Star, Ice, Erudition)
   • Proficient in AoE Ice DMG and stacking Interpretation stacks for amplified damage.
   • Her Ultimate is able to transfer stacks onto elite enemies for significant damage.
2. Aglaea (5-Star, Remembrance)
   • A Chrysos Heir that utilizes synchronized attacks with her companion Garmentmaker.
   • Excels in dynamic, rhythm-focused combat mechanics.

Significant Gameplay Updates

• Navigate Castrum Kremnos using the Hand of Zagreus to lift objects, break obstacles, and assist exploration.
• Unlock the March 7th’s Preservation Outfit by logging in during Version 3.0.
• A new permanent Rhythm Mini-Game Mode for composing and sharing music scores.
• Artifact Inventory Limit expanded to 2,100 slots.
• Bosses now respawn immediately after claiming rewards, removing unnecessary delays.
