Godforge Secures $14 Million in Cross-Platform RPG Funding

Today, Fateless, the studio behind the anticipated cross-platform RPG Godforge, revealed the results of its latest funding round, which marks its second. This investment round has successfully secured an additional $8 million USD, bringing the total funding to $14 million. Notably, a substantial portion—$6 million—originated from HH Gaming and the HellHades community, highlighting its localized crowdfunding efforts.

For those unfamiliar, HellHades refers to Simon Lockerby, a content creator renowned for games such as Raid Shadow Legends. He co-founded Fateless alongside HH Gaming co-founder Dan “Phixion” Frances and Skeleton Hand CEO Hisham “Sham” Saleh. Godforge represents their inaugural project, set in a universe where players tap into the abilities of deities, myths, and legends drawn from various factions.

With an established community already, Godforge is ahead of many games at this stage of development. Currently in Alpha testing, it just announced a unique gameplay mode dubbed “Caverns of Chaos.” The game is slated for release in Q1 of 2026.
