For the next 10 days, 1047 Games will be hosting a unique event within Splitgate 2. Three teams of content creators are set to compete in the F2P team shooter’s Splitgate Showdown event, allowing players to get involved by choosing a team to back. While players won’t directly compete, they’ll be eligible for prizes based on team performance.

Interestingly, 1047 has offered the same nine rewards to all participants, regardless of the team they support. The distribution of items is influenced by the teams’ rankings, with each team offering four themed rewards: a sidearm, a charm, a banner, and a spray. Players will earn all four items from the first-place team, three items from the team that finishes second, and two items from the last-place team. Thus, rooting for your team to win is key to maximizing your loot, along with additional items from the other teams.

Be mindful that once you select a team, you cannot change your choice. No switching allowed if your team seems to be trailing. However, since all participants receive the same items, it’s not a major concern. So, enjoy the game without stress.
