Genshin Impact 5.6 Update Brings New Archon Quest, Characters, and a Theme Park Event

HoYoverse has officially revealed Genshin Impact Version 5.6, titled “Paralogism,” set to launch on May 7. This update introduces a major Archon Quest Interlude, an exciting theme park management event in Fontaine, and two fresh playable characters for Travelers to discover.

New Archon Quest in Genshin Impact: Mondstadt’s Stormy Trial

The Windblume Festival takes an unexpected dark turn in this new chapter. Albedo finds himself accused of wrongdoing, leading players into a gripping mystery featuring:

• Familiar Faces: Return of Venti, members of the Knights of Favonius, and Hexenzirkel mage Lady Alice.

• New Weekly Boss: Face the King and Queen in a magical trial atop a giant chessboard.

• Heightened Stakes: As monsters descend upon Mondstadt, players must forge alliances with unlikely companions to uncover a hidden threat.

Fontaine’s New Amusement Park Event

In this new Genshin Impact feature, players will help manage Chevalmarin Film Fantasyland alongside Navia and characters from Natlan and Fontaine:

• Attractions to Build: Eclectic Escapades, Movie Masterpieces, and Mellow Manor.

• Gameplay Mechanics: Recruit talented staff, upgrade park facilities, and strategically spend Action Points to boost profits.

• Rewards Await: Earn the 4-star bow Sequence of Solitude and plenty of additional prizes.

Meet the New Playable Characters

• Escoffier (5-Star Cryo/Polearm):
  Formerly the head chef at Hotel Debord, Escoffier mixes culinary arts with combat.

  • Elemental Skill: Summon a Cooking Mek that absorbs attacks or dishes out Cryo damage.

  • Elemental Burst: Heal teammates and lower enemy Cryo/Hydro resistance, with bonuses scaling based on team composition.

• Ifa (4-Star Anemo/Catalyst):
  A sauro-veterinarian from Natlan’s Flower-Feather Clan, accompanied by her dinosaur friend Cacucu.

  • Abilities: AoE Swirl and Electro-Charged buffs, wind-based crowd control, and auto-healing when HP drops low.

Event Wishes & Future Updates

• Phase 1 Banners: Escoffier, Navia, and Ifa will be featured.

• Phase 2 Banners: Kinich debuts alongside a rerun of Raiden Shogun.
