Funcom Reveals Dune Awakening Launch Schedule and Server Plans Ahead of Next Week’s Debut

Funcom’s Dune Awakening is just a few days away for those who’ve preordered the Deluxe or Ultimate editions—or a bit longer for everyone else. To help players prepare, the studio has released a detailed schedule for when you can dive into the sands of Arrakis.

Contrary to what the map might suggest, the launch isn’t staggered globally. The game will unlock at 10 a.m. EDT on June 5th for Deluxe and Ultimate edition preorders, and at 10 a.m. EDT on June 10th for all other players. The map is simply there to help with time zone conversions.

“Pre-load will be available to all pre-order owners 24 hours before the head start on June 4th, but please note that pre-ordering the base edition does not grant head start access,” Funcom reminds players.

The studio also mentioned that several servers will be available worldwide during the head start next week, but the majority will go live with the official launch on June 10th as more players join. So, make sure to coordinate with your friends when choosing a server.
