Kickstarted MMO Fractured Online to fully launch on July 24th

Fractured Online MMO, Funded by Kickstarter, Set for Full Launch on July 24th

While the official launching day of an MMO sandbox, Fractured Online is a moment to be celebrated, it’s more significant considering the challenging journey it has had. After successfully raising $130K via Kickstarter in 2018, it became a part of Gamigo in 2021, only to be forced out the following year and leave early access altogether.

The game was later revived by Dynamight Studios who brought it back to early access at the end of the previous year. This week, they’ve announced the complete release of Fractured set for July 24th after seven years in the making. A new server named Elysium will launch alongside the current one named Genesis, with a redesign of the tutorial, specific PvP zones, but no upcoming plans for character transfers from Genesis to Elysium.

A small team of only eight people managed to create Fractured Online, a feat which the studio regards as extraordinarily challenging given the modest initial budget. Now, they’re eager to transition their dream sandbox MMORPG and the community of 20,000 backers and followers into a new phase,” stated the studio.
