Fly on Mounts in Black Desert Online with a Catch

You’ve probably sailed the seas, rode horses, and even taken a couple of guided balloon rides in Black Desert Online. But the long-anticipated arrival of flying mounts in this MMORPG is finally here. As of today — ten years after the game launched — you can commandeer a dragon and navigate the game’s world from an entirely new perspective. This isn’t your average on-rails flying mount, it’s the game’s first mount that grants full-control navigation, making point-to-point travel faster and more exciting.

However, there’s a slight catch to this update.

Upon logging in, if you speak to your Black Spirit and accept the “To The Skies, Duskwing” quest and successfully complete it, you’ll receive a “Duskwing Calling Horn (14 Days)” reward. You might be disappointed to hear that this item only grants a two-week trial period of flying freedom. Inevitably, you will be grounded again, but this limitation won’t last forever. After this preview phase, the flying dragon mount will be available as a reward for elite guilds earning the “Conquest Lords” ranking.
