First Descendant Part 2 in Season 1 Releases October 10th

In Season 1, players of The First Descendant are already gaining points. The latest upgrade to the looter-shooter was originally set to be divided into 3 sections, with the last one scheduled to arrive in late October. However, as a response to players’ backlash, Nexon chose to combine the second and third portions of the update, advancing everything to October 10th.

We were already aware of some particulars regarding the second update. Today, the team has unveiled full details of the upcoming challenges and added features. Some of the previously known facts include the introduction of the Ultimate Freyna Descendant and her accompanying backstory. It seems she’s ready to use her past traumas against her adversaries with a new Nightmare Dominator suit.

With the new Death Stalker colossus Void Intercept, several new modules will also be introduced.

The First Descendant is now going to be full of “400% Infiltration Operations”, designed to be the most challenging content to date. The inclusion of additional adversaries in operations will certainly increase the difficulty level, but it also ensures greater rewards. Killing more enemies will yield more prizes to exchange with ETA-0 for goods from their rotating shop.

A Halloween event is on the horizon, but we don’t have much information about it except for the addition of decorations and skins.

The Resource Defense Special Operations will be revamped, mainly because players have been engaging with other content more due to this content being more time-consuming and less rewarding. Changes to mobs, timing, and other facets of the event can be anticipated.

Reactors Farming will also become significantly easier. There won’t be a need to farm a reactor for every new weapon that needs an Ultimate Reactor. Instead, simply inject a new Weapon Optimization Condition into the reactor you’re already using.

Make sure to check out the complete patch notes for more details.
