Just four days away from the launch of the much-awaited Dawntrail patch, the Final Fantasy XIV group is constantly giving updates on the Lodestone. Among the updates is an early release of patch notes detailing everything discussed in the past two Live Letters. Another important update comes in the form of a Special Site update, namely for those eagerly awaiting vivid representations of the new content. Unexpectedly, an announcement surfaced on the Lodestone that took most players by surprise. Aligned perfectly with the kind of “holiday adventure with a dash of potential global catastrophe” tenor that Dawntrail enthused. The unexpected declaration? A collaboration between Final Fantasy XIV and the Japanese outdoor equipment label LOGOS. Consequently, an array of outdoor gear, bearing the branding of Final Fantasy XIV and featuring items like a compact tent, foldaway chairs, flip-top tables, and lamps, was introduced. It is as if they are attempting to persuade us to venture outside. For anyone considering outdoor adventures and would like Alpha and a moogle embossed gear to express your admiration for the MMORPG, the preorders will commence on November 15.
