You Can Tell We’re Almost To The Launch Of Final Fantasy XIV’s Patch 7.2 Because The Moogle Treasure Trove Is Returning

Final Fantasy XIV Nearly Launching Patch 7.2; Moogle Treasure Trove Returns

As tends to be the norm when it comes to Final Fantasy XIV updates, the developers have prepared something to entertain us while we wait for Patch 7.2 to be released in late March. Square Enix has yet to announce the exact launch date, choosing instead to reserve this information until the second installment of the Live Letter for the update. However, given that the Moogle Treasure Trove is set to begin next week on February 26 and usually continues for about a month, we can speculate that the release date might be around March 25.

Starting from February 26 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific in the MMORPG, the event will carry on until Patch 7.2 gets released. Four distinct types of tasks are available: Standard Objectives, Weekly Objectives, Minimog Challenges, and Ultimate Challenges. You can amass Irregular Tomestones by either devoting all your time to duties or by leisurely spending time on fishing boats or in the Gold Saucer. Weekly and Minimog challenges – which are also weekly – provide an opportunity to earn a larger quantity of Tomestones at once. The Ultimog Challenge yields the greatest amount of Irregular Tomestones but it will definitely require some effort as it can only be completed once.

The rewards you can obtain with your collected tomes include the Shadow Gwiber, two Kamuy mounts, gear, minions, additional mounts, emotes, and more. You can check out the entire list in the announcement on the Lodestone.
