Light Speed Studios has launched beta testing for its Final Fantasy XIV mobile edition, and the initial experiences are being shared. This newly announced project is a mobile-adapted version of the beloved MMORPG and originates from the same point as the PC and console versions with A Realm Reborn, as we learned from a recent interview with Yoshi-P.
Until now, we’ve had little understanding of how the game’s mechanics have been adapted for mobile use. However, beta testers have now given us a glimpse by sharing various videos on Bilibili detailing every aspect from avatar development to item creation. Some videos also highlight game enhancements and ‘limit break 3’ for all roles. For now, we provide links to them through this Reddit thread as the videos are not yet available on Youtube.
Yet, the gameplay trailer is already up on Youtube, allowing you to understand the visual contrast between the mobile and PC editions.
