FFA PvP MMO Profane claims its world has ‘its backbone in place’ but needs more depth of content

FFA PvP MMO Profane Announces Core World Structure Complete, Awaits Expanded Content Depth

How is the ongoing testing for the FFA PvP MMO Profane progressing? According to developer Insane Studio, things are going well, though they acknowledge that there’s still plenty of room for improvement – and those improvements might not arrive for testers in the near future.

“Currently, we see the game world as having its foundational structure in place. While many aspects still require refinement and enhancements, we already have examples of systems that provide insight into how they influence player decisions,” stated CEO Diego Beltran in a Discord message. “However, a session of Profane today still feels shallow – adventures lack variety, scale, and difficulty.”

Beltran assured players that the studio is actively working on adding more content, new regions, and expanding the game world. He also mentioned that preparations are underway to accelerate the pace of updates. That said, he cautioned that playtesters shouldn’t expect these updates to arrive “in the next couple of tests.” Nevertheless, a ramp-up in development is on the horizon, and Beltran encouraged players to join future testing sessions.

As for the current testing phase, it remains closed for now. The latest build introduced new elemental skills, an attributes screen, and additional UI features.
