As 2025 sees The Elder Scrolls Online transition from its standard “annual chapter” structure to a “seasonal” development format for the MMORPG, the community is somewhat in anticipation to understand the new rhythm. Although the main reveal is set for April, Update 45 dropping on PC on March 10th did give us some insights through a recent live stream. That stream unveiled the two new dungeons coming in the “Fallen Banners” update and made clear that dungeons will now each have unique, independent narratives.
The dungeon known as Lep Seclusa made an appearance, a place inhabited by disgruntled monks wishing to stay secluded from civilization and safeguard their coveted Elder Scroll. Orpheon the Tactitican, however, has uncovered their secret and aims to seize the scroll. That’s where the player steps in to assist, or face a bloody outcome.
A new monster mask and three new set items form part of the rewards for defeating the monks. In addition, players can acquire a “gold skin” if they successfully conquer both new dungeons on Veteran difficulty. The visually impressive skin resembling the character C-3PO from popular culture features in the above image.
Remember, the TESO team has clarified that although initially the new dungeons are exclusive to ESO Plus members, they will be purchasable in the Crown Store around the same time the Fallen Banners update arrives on consoles i.e., March 26th.
