Following July’s disappointing announcement about MY.GAMES halting development of Skyforge, operator Innova/4game has now revealed the final update before shutting down European and American servers. The curtain falls permanently on September 3rd for PC players, with console servers following on October 29th, with no indications of a service extension.
The farewell update brings three weeks of commemorative activities, including revived limited-time events and premium currency giveaways. Players can acquire classic cosmetic sets using bonus Argent rewards, complete the symbolic “Everything comes to an end” achievement, and experience a final season battling the Mechanoid threat. The developers have also reactivated the fan-favorite Summer Breeze event for one last appearance.
While the shutdown stings loyal players, the studio’s efforts to create a meaningful sendoff contrast with more abrupt MMO closures that lacked final updates or developer participation. Having only managed the game for under a year, Innova’s commemorative events offer a more graceful conclusion than many longer-tenured publishers have provided for sunsetting titles.
