Attention, EverQuest and EverQuest 2 fans: We know you just received updates for your favourite MMORPGs in the last couple of months. Despite this, it’s never too early to start plotting the next expansions. Case in point, Daybreak and Darkpaw Games are discussing the subject in their 2025 roadmaps for both games. Let’s explore further.
Starting with the original EverQuest title, 2025 promises the game’s 32nd expansion in December, with pre-ordering available as early as October. Monthly raid tiers of the MMO’s most recent Outer Brood expansion release will happen in January, February, and March. A new Progression Server launch is expected in May, while potential server merges are under consideration for July, rather intriguing indeed.
The full calendar of events for the year is arranged, so if you’re curious about when the “Talk Like A Pirate” events will occur, see the image below. Additionally, look forward to server performance upgrades, Suite windows transformation to the new UI engine, and tighter anti-cheating measures throughout the year.
Moving on to the sequel, the roadmap looks less detailed. However, that doesn’t deny the fact that there’s exciting content in the pipeline. Anticipate the 22nd expansion in December, with two GU betas and launches preceding this. The roadmap also provides a list of in-game events to look out for.
Both roadmaps can be seen below.
