Daybreak Games and Darkpaw Games are commemorating the birthdays of their MMORPGs all through the year. However, this week is especially significant as EverQuest 2 marks its 20th anniversary. The sequel’s journey began on November 8th, 2004.
Even though there are still two months remaining in the Year of Darkpaw celebration, both EverQuest and EverQuest 2 are in for an additional celebration as the official anniversary approaches.
Beginning with something unusual in the original EverQuest. Here, the “Champion’s Festival” kicks off in recognition of EverQuest 2’s two-decade milestone. You can embark on a quest offered by Balhalyne Treherth in Qeynos Hills or Fellen Xalladyr in the Commonlands. Upon quest completion, you’ll receive special appearance items, the Echoforged Enoxus Ornament, based on EverQuest II’s Enoxus, Cloud Cleaver, and the Echoforged Aeteok Ornament based on EverQuest II’s Aeteok, Spirit Render.
You have the option to redo these quests if you desire to brandish dual versions of these skins.
Make sure to claim your EverQuest November gift as part of the Year of Darkpaw. This month’s gift is a teleportation item to the Lake of Ill Omen. You can obtain it on all your characters. November will see the spawning of Velkethor’s Labyrinth – Mysterious Dicoctions and a patch-updated Anniversary Tower quest.
Over in EverQuest 2, there’s a limited-edition 20th-anniversary mount available in the marketplace, but it must be claimed by the end of November. I have provided the picture above for your reference.
