Everness to Neverness set to have exclusive global closed beta for PC in July ⋆ MMORPGBR

Developers at Studio Hotta and publisher Perfect World Games have unveiled plans to launch a closed beta test for their highly anticipated Neverness to Everness. The testing phase will kick off at 09h (UTC+8) on July 3, 2025, and will run until July 16 at 11:59 pm (UTC+8). Dubbed the “Containment Test”, this beta version will be exclusively available for PC users, with mobile devices excluded at this time.

Interested participants can now pre-register via the official containment test page. Registration spots are limited and will close once full. Successful registrants will be notified via a confirmation email, granting them free access to the trial. It should be noted that this is a technical test, not a final version, and all progress will be deleted at the conclusion. The beta version includes multiple language support and features an interface in English, Japanese, simplified and traditional Chinese, as well as voiceovers in English, Japanese and Chinese, offering a customizable experience.

Details about the precise content of the game are yet to be revealed by the developers. However, previous trailers suggest a blend of urban exploration, paranormal elements and life simulation. During the beta test, players will have the opportunity to explore the city of Hethereau, interact with local businesses, drive custom vehicles, and adorn their personal apartments. The game’s unique combat system, termed “Esper Cycle”, appears to be a central gameplay element, leveraging character abilities to generate real-time synergies.
