For months, we’ve followed updates on Empire Rising, the rogue server resurrecting the discontinued cyberpunk MMO Face of Mankind. Previously targeting an August 2025 launch, the team has now announced an open beta start date: Saturday, August 9th.
The project lead frames Empire Rising as both a sequel and a return to form, set 123 years after the original game’s storyline. The roadmap promises expansions like new planets, HD visuals, weaponry, and competitive arena modes.
