Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle Marks 10th Anniversary with Super Vegito, Super Gogeta and More

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc is in celebration mode, marking 10 successful years of the game DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE. This action and puzzle game is pure fun. To celebrate, they’ve thrown a massive two-part party. An exciting feature of this celebration is the introduction of six new characters, which is a first! Let’s examine the best aspects of this celebration, featuring characters who team up for strength, new powers, and an overall enhanced game!

A 10-Year Celebration Full of Surprises

The game is set in the DRAGON BALL universe, with terrific illustrations and animations that immerse you in the anime. Famous characters such as Super Saiyan God SS Goku, Vegeta, Freeza, Jiren, and many others face-off in adrenaline-filled battles.

Since its launch on January 30, 2015, the game has brought much joy for players, with epic moves, exciting events, and global championships. Now, celebrating its 10th year, the game is even more sensational, featuring six new characters, a revamped aesthetic, and an even more thrilling gameplay.

To make the celebration even more special, Bandai Namco invited De’Aaron Fox, a basketball player who’s a star in his own right, to create a video showcasing the game’s splendor and enduring success.

Super Vegito and Super Gogeta: The Heroes Have Arrived to Save the Day!

The 10-year gala has two parts packed with surprises. In the first part, Super Saiyan Goku + Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel) arrive, who can join forces to become Super Vegito.
In the second part, the fusion is between Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel) + Super Saiyan Goku (Angel), who transform into the powerful Super Gogeta.

In addition to these, Super Saiyan 3 Goku (GT) (Giant Golden Monkey) and Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta, who were introduced in the first part, are still in the game. And now, in the second part, Super Saiyan 2 Gohan (Young) and Freeza (Final Form) (Angel) + Goku have arrived.

The Dokkan Festival x Top Legendary Summon Carnival is also happening, with plenty of opportunities to acquire special characters, new missions, and super cool events to entertain players.

A Top New Feature: The Reversible Switch

Beyond the introduction of new characters, the 10-year celebration revealed an awesome new feature: the Reversible Switch. With this feature, you can choose between two characters during combat, depending on the situation. When you meet the requirements, you are able to swap characters at any time.
For now, the Reversible Switch is available for:

• Super Saiyan Goku + Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel)
• Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel) + Super Saiyan Goku (Angel)
• Freeza (Final Form) (Angel) + Goku

Even More Exciting Upgrades to the Game!

To commemorate the 10-year mark, the game creators have made several enhancements, such as a completely revamped battle screen. According to them, the aim was to modernize the appearance of the game and make battles easier to follow and more exhilarating.

The animations for the fights have been entirely redone to make the characters’ movements parallel to those in the anime. A great new feature is that characters now perform different movements before picking up the Ki Spheres, adding further excitement to the battles.

While some previous celebrations like the Worldwide Celebration Campaign may not have pleased everyone, the 10-year anniversary of Dokkan Battle has been a major hit, proving that the game remains beloved among gamers.
