Continuing to thrive, Aion EU Classic released information regarding their upcoming update, 2.8.5 Dominance. This patch of the MMORPG will introduce two new instanced PvE dungeons and the Apheta Battle Fortress for PvP enthusiasts. Winning factions in the fortress battles get to run the two new PvE dungeons for free, while the defeated must use Time Fragments for entry, unless they reclaim the fortress in the following week’s battle.
The official statement merely indicates the ‘Dominance’ update is set to “arrive soon”. However, the teaser trailer below details the release date as September 4th.
Players who have reached the new level 58 limit can try out the new Wall of Lament and Tartarus dungeons. These dungeons are designed for groups and can be accessed once a week. Notably, only players of the faction that currently holds sway over Apheta Battle Fortress can enter for free, while the rest need to use Time Fragments.
