While the creators of The Division 2 are still figuring out how to move forward with Seasons 2.0 after a change of course in response to player criticism, the game’s summer event keeps the action hot in the shooter genre.
From today, any gamer who has unlocked Projects in The Division 2 (something that can be achieved quickly even for beginners) can participate in a number of Summer Event tasks. The event continues till August 20th and you should be able to complete the essential projects in a reasonable time frame.

A series of seven projects will lead to a host of 8 diverse rewards, including the ODEA Cowboy clothing set. Complete all the projects and you will earn “The Cooler”, an exclusive weapon that possesses a unique skill of spraying water on ally targets. Besides offering a fun way to cool down, this also offers a 50% Hazard Protection bonus.
It’s pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
