Everything we have observed from Stars Reach to this point shows the MMORPG‘s developers putting a lot of emphasis on elements you can modify. This may involve altering abilities, reshaping a planet, or discovering unexplored areas, but constant movement is the key. This trend continues with most recent testing.

Now the attention shifts to the specifics of construction. Specifically, Playable Worlds is discussing the process of constructing personal Homesteads across the galaxy, which is not just rudimentary player accommodation.

With hopes to test this feature in early December, the team announces that it’s finally time to start creating your own space. Fancying a small house on a favorite planet? No problem. Perhaps you fancy something more substantial, like a home that includes a storefront? That’s feasible too. If you loath planets and prefer residing in the infinite space of a space station? Absolutely possible. If you’ve been causing trouble and need a secret refuge inside an asteroid? Feel free to excavate, buddy, it’s all yours.

These varied construction options will necessitate diverse skills. For instance, Civil Engineering skills could be needed for tech-infused constructs, while Forestry may be relevant for woodland homes. You get the drift.

Homesteads are customizable, expandable and multifaceted. They can be more than just hangout spots. Friends can assist with building, and multiple homesteads can be placed in various locations, if you have earned the right. However, moving established structures or objects may not be straightforward initially, so be thoughtful in your testing stage decisions.

Additionally, the team is exploring more Homestead attributes, such as seasonal changes and enhancement of creature intelligence (which may also increase the ability to breach your Homestead’s defenses), but these changes may not be part of the initial update.
