In Diablo IV’s Infernal Hordes, players can face the wave-based element alone or team up with friends. Each wave gives players a chance to choose between Infernal Offerings to enhance enemy strength and final rewards.
The Infernal Hordes feature can be accessed in both realms: it will be added to a Season Mission in the Season Realm and will be available after a short new mission in the Eternal Kingdom on Difficulty III. The Corrupt Council, consisting of five members, will face the players at the end of each Infernal Hordes session. Each session will randomly present three different members to fight against. Be prepared for their unique abilities and the various combinations they come in.
New Hell Breach Dungeons are available on the Season Realm, providing players a sneak peek of the Infernal Hordes. These dungeons reward players with Burning Aether, which can be used on chests at the end.
This season introduces over 50 new Unique and Legendary items that will remain available even after the end of the season. Earn these items by defeating enemies in Sanctuary and the Infernal Hordes. Collect treasures from slaying powerful minions of Hell to progress through the Season. Once you unlock Season Progression, the Infernal Hordes feature will be one of the most effective ways to enhance reputation and accumulate treasures during the season.
