If you want to become a powerful magician, wizards hate this simple trick! Put on a floppy hat and just like that – you’ve turned into a wizard. This is true in Destiny 2, especially with the comeback of the Festival of the Lost Halloween event, happening until November 19th. Let’s bypass the point that Guardians are indeed space wizards; it’s still not official unless there’s a hat.
Many elements of this year’s event should feel familiar. Players must wear masks and battle in haunted sectors for a chance to earn seasonal currencies, creepy engrams, and manifested pages that must be retuned to the Book of the Forgotten in exchange for rewards, plus the typical event card to complete.
On offer are rewards like a brand-new legendary shotgun, fresh perks for returning event weapons, new masks, a returning superblack shader, and the chance to buy exotic class items for owners of The Final Shape. Also, there are spooky additions in the game’s cash shop, for instance evil wizard armor skins for Warlocks and Hunters, and a good wizard skin for Titans. Existing features are combined with fresh surprises, as detailed in the patch notes.
