This week, survival sandbox game from Sand Sailor Studio, ASKA (try saying that quickly ten times), released a significant update that its fans were eagerly waiting for!
…The option to abandon official servers and establish themselves on new custom dedicated servers!
“The new update allows players to set up their own dedicated server for more fluid cooperative play,” say the developers. “You can set up the server using the dedicated server application, and then locate it in the multiplayer games list as usual. However, in this instance, your progress remains persistent.” This means Players can now create their own game worlds, implement a ruleset, and even put in a password to prevent unwanted intrusion.
Further additions in the patch include a new chat feature (prior to this only voice chat was available), significant visual enhancements for diverse elements, from terrain to skies, a newly introduced mechanism for plotting roads and pathways, a redesigned archery range and tower jobs, along with many bug fixes.
