After conducting yet another full reset of its 4th alpha to rectify a character glitch, Artificial Core for Corepunk announced its intention to continuously run the remaining part of the test until the end of October. However, the company did not assure that there won’t be another reset.
Regretting the August 16th wipe, the studio stated, “We realize this could discourage some people from continuining game play, and your feelings are valid. However, urgent issues that reduce the significance of progression for all other players need to be urgently addressed. Furthermore, this is crucial to our work and key to tweaking and fixing game issues.”
The first reset took place on August 9. Offering redress to players who found this unsettling, the studio intends to reward all Alpha 4 testers with an exclusive horse mount.
The team is also in the process of rectifying some issues in the alpha. One of these issues includes item duplication bugs, which ideally should have been resolved with an August 23rd patch. In addition, the development team plans to work on mob equilibrium, inclusion of more craft items, and the extension of “synthesis machine’s logic across all professions.”
Early access release for Corepunk is expected on November 26th.
