Hi-Rez Studios has announced upcoming continuous closed alpha testing for SMITE 2 starting on August 27. The much-anticipated sequel to the popular MOBA game will feature an enhanced matchmaking system for a more accurate and rewarding gaming experience.
The updated matchmaking mechanism will consider not only the overall skill levels of the players but also their preferred roles as well as their proficiency in those roles. To facilitate this, players will have to rank their role-preferences from one (highest) to five (lowest). This upgrade will ensure a more balanced and competitive match.
