Caliban Prime Coming to Warframe on August 26

Caliban Prime is set to arrive in Digital Extremes’ Warframe on August 26th. This latest “Prime Access” frame, revealed during July’s TennoCon showcasing the upcoming The Old Peace story arc, will be available simultaneously on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.

  • Frame Upgrade: Caliban Prime boasts improved energy and shields, along with an additional Attack Polarity slot for expanded modding options.
  • Ability Toolkit: Featuring a mobile spin attack, ground-slam crowd control, deployable Sentient allies (Conculyst, Ortholyst, Summulyst), and a powerful triple-beam energy blast, Caliban Prime excels in adaptable combat and team support.
  • Signature Gear: The Venato Prime scythe returns with enhanced stats, and the new Vadarya Prime sniper rifle makes its debut, recovered from the Orokin archives.
  • Bundle Cosmetics: Includes the Neurovyre Prime Syandana, Tauron Prime Regalia for Operator/Drifter, two Caliban Prime glyphs, and 90-day Affinity and Resource boosters.
  • Earn vs. Buy: Players can acquire blueprints by farming Void Relics to craft Caliban Prime for free. Alternatively, tiered Prime Access packs offer immediate unlocks.
  • New TennoGen Items: Community-designed skins and accessories will be released in the in-game Market alongside the update, providing players with even more customization choices.

Originally introduced in late 2021, Caliban is a fusion of Orokin engineering and Sentient bio-tech, created by the antagonist Erra to oppose the Tenno. This Prime variant retains the lore while offering the enhanced stats veteran players seek for endgame builds.

This update is scheduled to launch two to three months before the release of The Old Peace. If you intend to farm for Caliban Prime, be prepared for his relics to replace the oldest Prime parts in the rotation upon the patch’s arrival.
