Brazilian Server for Tree of Savior Sees 40-fold Improvement in Ping


In spite of an unstable beginning last month, Tree of Savior’s latest server in Brazil, Kepa, is demonstrating its worth to the growing South American player-base. The decision by Papaya Play to operate this Portuguese version of the MMORPG in Sao Paolo has led to an impressive 40-fold reduction in latency for gamers.

“Although the launch was initially marred by lag due to an unexpectedly high number of players, Papaya Play promptly resolved the issue by increasing the server’s resources. This resulted in a substantial decrease in ping – by a factor of 40 – for major Brazilian ISPs including Claro, Vivo, and Vtal,” read a recent press release.

In related news, on the global version of Tree of Savior managed by IMCGAMES, a new season called Jurate was rolled out with an update last week. This brought a new Vulture class, a raised level cap (from 510 to 520), and a fresh storyline:
