Nexon’s free-to-play anime-style action RPG Blue Archive has finally made its debut on Steam, allowing more players to delve into the enchanting world of Kivotos. Players assume the role of an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E., where they work to resolve various incidents that arise in the city. This role involves engaging with students from several academies in Kivotos and fostering relationships with them.
Alongside the Steam launch, Nexon has unveiled the next update for the game. “Code: BOX – The Shadow Approaching Millennium” presents a special event story where students infiltrate the Millennium EXPO and get caught up in a conspiracy. This update introduces four new three-star characters, along with a swimsuit version of Hanako.
Among the new characters are Seia and Neru (School), who are Piercing-Type Striker characters. Asuna represents the Explosive-Type Striker, while Rio is classified as a Mystic-Type Special.
Additionally, the Blue Archive team participated in Anime Expo, where they conducted a panel titled, “Blue Archive: Dev Talk Live at AX 2025.” This panel featured key figures such as Executive Producer Yongha Kim, Studio Producer Kyungsub Ahn, and Music Director Mitsukiyo.
