Blizzard’s Warcraft Direct Soon; Partial Leak Reported

In case you forgot, Blizzard took the decision this year to not hold the much-anticipated BlizzCon, as shared back in April. They revealed that they would rather disclose details about various ventures differently over time. One such attempt is the execution of Warcraft Direct, scheduled for November 13 and beginning at 10 am Pacific Time. Only two days ahead of the event, Blizzard gave a sneak peek of it today with a video honouring their two-decade journey in Azeroth.

During Wednesday’s live stream, there’s a chance for fans to catch a glimpse of Blizzard’s future plans for the World of Warcraft. They can also enjoy a 30th Anniversary concert, taped live in Switzerland, showcasing the series’ music with a ensemble of 190 performers, including the 21st Century Orchestra and three choirs.

Though Blizzard has yet to disclose what exactly is in store during the live stream, there has been a leak suggesting a major announcement. As per a video shared by Bellular, an “Warcraft 2 remastered internal alpha” was inadvertently uploaded on Battle.net without encryption. It’s probable that this will be one of the key discussions on Wednesday. Additionally, the developers are expected to share exciting updates for the World of Warcraft MMORPG community.
