The Mountain of Eternal Winter, a long-awaited expansion to Black Desert Online, has finally become accessible to players on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. More than two years since its deployment on the PC version, console gamers can now explore the frost-covered Mountain of Eternal Winter and its player hub, which introduces new quests, a formidable boss, and expanded endgame content featuring enticing loot and rewards.
Pearl Abyss has offered a tantalizing hint about the Mountain of Eternal Winter, which encourages players to journey into uncharted lands and conquer the mountain to defeat Illezra. Players will discover a new winter-themed zone, attempt to uncover the secret of the Holy Flame Ynix, decipher age-old trials left by the mountain’s earliest guardians, and aid the inhabitants of ‘Eilton’ in their pursuit of hidden wisdom.
New characters and players just beginning their adventures in this medieval fantasy MMORPG will find the Mountain of Eternal Winter a fresh starting point. At the same time, the PC version has been enhanced with a comparatively smaller update, featuring class modifications, quest refinements, and enhancements to Conquest and Node Wars’ UI rewards.
