The South Korean developer Pearl Abyss announced today a new and anticipated update for Black Desert Mobile, introducing novel monster zones and the powerful Blackstar weapons, previously unveiled at Heidel Ball 2024. Players who have completed Kamasylvia’s main story can now explore unexplored regions west of Calpheon, providing thrilling challenges for high-level adventurers.
The new areas, called Western Post, Star Tomb and Blackstar Fall Area, offer a blend of exploration, combat, and mystery. In the Western Post, an emerging city with farmland and a military post, soldiers investigate the secrets behind the mysterious Blackstar. While the Star Tomb and Blackstar Fall Area are focused on intense battles against powerful monsters, ideal for players with Combat Power (CP) level of 66,000 and 68,000, respectively.
Challenges and Rewards: Blackstar Weapons and the Fallen God’s Area
In the new monster zones, players can obtain valuable items like the “Remnants of the Dead God”, necessary to forge coveted Blackstar weapons. Collecting 25 units of this item allows for the creation of the Blackstar’s Claw, essential in the forging of weapons that promise to redefine combat in the game.
Blackstar weapons not only surpass Dawnveil equipment in Attack Power and Defense, but also offer unique bonuses: the main Blackstar weapon provides +5% additional damage to all branches, while the secondary weapon offers +2000 maximum HP. Besides, these weapons have a distinct visual appearance, with a dynamic glow that changes according to the item level.
Another highlight of the update is the Fallen God’s Realm, a weekly PvE activity that offers players the chance to collect rare materials for the creation of Blackstar weapons. This special area will be available every Wednesday from 8:20 PM to 9:20 PM, allowing players with CP above 300,000 to face dark challenges and defeat epic bosses to earn essential items.
With these additions, Black Desert Mobile reinforces its position as one of the main MMORPGs in the mobile landscape, offering a rich experience in action, strategy, and customization.
