Today, Netmarble pulled back the curtain on the official website for their upcoming mobile and PC cross-play action RPG, Solo Leveling: ARISE. This thrilling new game draws its inspiration from the widely loved webtoon series, Solo Leveling, a tale set in a world under threat from new perils emerging from dimension gates. These threats are countered by skilled “hunters” who brave dungeons to combat the nightmarish monster-infested hordes, shielding humanity.
The narrative follows Sung Jinwoo, a feeble E-rank hunter who, against the odds, survives a gruelling ‘Double Dungeon’ concealed within a D-rank gate. Jinwoo emerges with peculiar abilities and learns that he can enhance his strength by slaying monsters and achieving quest objectives – a capacity exclusive to him.
Offering a faithful rendition of the original webtoon, Solo Leveling: ARISE incorporates engaging storytelling, action RPG elements, dynamic combat, and high-speed gameplay. The lineup features fan favourite hunters such as Sung Jinwoo, Cha Haein, Yoo Jinho, and more. Gamers can anticipate harnessing the unique capabilities of each hunter, combining them for greater effectiveness and expedited clearance of gates. Furthermore, players can dispatch enemies, gather their shadows, and recruit them to their cause, assembling their very own ‘Army of Shadows.’ Overcoming magical beasts that pose formidable challenges in every dungeon necessitates distinct strategies and skills.
