The indie MMORPG Eterspire, already popular with 300,000 mobile players, has launched on Steam and the Mac App Store. This release allows desktop players to join the same servers as mobile users, seamlessly continuing their progress and using their existing characters.
Eterspire, developed in Buenos Aires, embraces an old-school approach with manual grinding, cooperative dungeons, and a free-to-play system that avoids pay-to-win equipment – reminiscent of classic MMORPGs. The PC version features native keyboard, mouse, and gamepad support, an optimized widescreen interface, and a RuneScape-inspired world selector. The launch saw a peak of nearly 700 concurrent players on Steam, a notable achievement for an indie MMORPG.
