Albion Online’s Season 28 kicks off on July 5, inviting players to engage in a two-month guild competition with exciting new features.
Participants from Asia, Europe, and the Americas in this F2P sandbox MMORPG can join the Conqueror’s Challenge to unlock exclusive Avatar Sets, rewards, and buffs. They will also face the newly added Depths — a PvP dungeon introduced in the Abyssal Depths update.
To commemorate the launch, Albion is boosting Season Points for players who conquer the dungeon. Special events such as Invasion Days and double scoring will occur mid-season. This latest season is set to conclude on September 2, with a climactic finale on August 30.
Furthermore, players can look forward to the introduction of Awakened Weapons, which allow for gear customization. By awakening a Pristine (.4) weapon at the Artifact Foundry, players can improve attributes like power and attack speed while adding unique Traits. These weapons are character-bound via an Attunement system and strengthen through PvE Fame earned in full-loot PvP zones. The accumulation of Attunement Points increases both the potency and customization options of the weapon.
Traits on Awakened Weapons can be added, enhanced, or swapped, with escalating costs linked to a system called Strain. Since the process can be costly, players should approach it wisely. Additionally, these weapons feature a Legendary Rating that dictates the number of traits and their resilience in the game world post-death.
