Survival games often have a few common objectives. It may be purely for survival, combating against others, or gathering resources for restoration. The latter serves as the premise of Towers of Aghasba, an soon-to-launch survival RPG that challenges up to four players to restore the ancestral land of a tribal group.
“In the years following the desertion of their homeland due to the intrusion of a cryptic force known as the Withered, the Shimu tribe has returned to reclaim Aghasba, their rightful abode. As a junior architect, your task lies in reconstructing the settlements of your once dominant civilization and rejuvenating the once lush ecosystems of Aghasba.”
Participants are required to venture into different regions of the land, attracting back wildlife and fellow tribal members through cultivation of plants, construction of settlements, kindling friendships with animals, all whilst combating the corrupting power of the Withered.
With an initial access release slated for Tuesday, November 19th, Aghasba anticipates an early access stage that will last from 12 to 18 months. The game boasts the promise of six regions, three ecosystems, and three settlement types to develop. The cost for the early access launch is not disclosed, but it’s confirmed by the developer, Dreamlit Inc, that the price will rise upon the official launch.
