Aeternum’s Turkulon Returns with Incredible Drumstick of Death Rewards

Console players will have an opportunity to join the search for Turkulon for the first time with the New World: Aeternum now available on such platforms. The hunt begins on November 20th and lasts until December 3rd, as the largest fowl beast is hunted down in a celebration of Thanksgiving by the MMORPG.

To kick off, you’ll be tracking down regular turkeys in a bid to secure a chance to skin them with your event-only Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife. Skinning these turkeys might yield various loot pieces, among which my ultimate favorite is the Drumstick of Death flail skin. The skin has a 19% drop rate, making it reasonably obtainable. However, like the Turkulon’s Juicy Calves Boots Skin, these items can only be procured once during the event. Alternate items, such as Infused Turkey Ward Potions, can be obtained multiple times a day with the daily reset at 5:01 AM local time.

Rewards can also be earned by hunting down Turkulon in different areas of the world, but you’ll require some allies to defeat the level 66 boss. Weapon and boot skins are also up for grabs here, but the flail skin’s drop rate is decreased in this fight to just 9%. However, Turkulon is the only source of the hammer skin.
